Bill Plant Driving School Instructor Update – 21st March

The health and wellbeing of all our pupils, instructors, trainers and staff is the most important concern for us as a business and we continue to follow the guidance from the Government and the NHS.

To date, there has been no advice explicitly preventing driving lessons from being undertaken. Booking numbers have remained constant however, the Government’s announcements to postpone Theory and Driving Tests have caused an increase of pupil lesson cancellations. We are continuing our marketing activity to bring in new pupil enquiries across the UK.

We are proud to be National Driving School of the Year and at a time like this we will act accordingly; for the benefit of our pupils, trainers, instructors, staff, and the wider industry. We know there are lots of questions and concerns so we have produced clear advice on our Instructor Support page. It is being constantly updated and has links and advice on the latest news and assistance for the Self Employed, including Universal Credit, Tax and Financial Support.

Should you need any guidance please do not hesitate to contact your Relationship Manager in the Instructor Support Team on 01765 643374.

Our Management Team are meeting daily, as they have today, to continue to best manage this unprecedented situation. We will release further updates throughout the week and communicate accordingly.

From everyone at Bill Plant Driving School, thank you for your on-going support and stay safe.

Kind regards

Tom Hixon
