Instructor Support Update – 19th June

Instructor Support Update – 19th June

Post-lockdown Driving Lesson Guidance
As we continue in our planning for driving lessons to provisionally resume on 6th July, we have created internal post-lockdown lesson guidance notes for all Bill Plant Driving School Instructors.

The document is for guidance purposes only. Please do not directly share with your pupils. We will be producing and publicising pupil-targeted advice starting from next week and this will be shared with you to use as appropriate.

The guidance notes cover:

  • Staying alert to COVID-19 symptoms
  • Personal protective equipment
  • Before and after lesson advice
  • Lesson planning adaptions
  • Car cleaning and approval required prior to any modifications

Here is the link to the full post-lockdown driving lesson guidance notes –

As lockdown restrictions ease and important health messages change over time, we will continue to keep these guidance notes updated. If you have any suggestions for the guidance or questions please liaise with your Relationship Manager.

Have you updated your Instructor Details?
We’ve had nearly half of the school complete the Instructor Details survey, with 93% of you currently intending to recommence driving lessons from the 6th July.

For those that still haven’t updated your Instructor Details, we do require you to complete the link below to efficiently update many of your details within our Booking System. We will need your response to understand your pupil requirements and allocate new bookings for when lessons recommence.

Update your Instructor Details here –

If you have any questions about this, please speak to your Relationship Manager.
