Instructor Support Update – 10th July
On Monday (6th July) we received the highest number of web enquiries ever recorded by the driving school and four times higher than the same period last year. The high level of enquiries has remained throughout the week.
We introduced new systems which have secured hundreds of pre-paid driving lesson bookings for our instructors. We are delighted with the positive instructor feedback received so far, which confirms the new process allows you to concentrate your time on teaching (with confirmed paid bookings), as opposed to fielding cold enquiries on prices and availability.
We are now five days into this new process, there will inevitably be a few teething issues, but the whole driving school is working together to collectively improve the service to our pupils and instructors. Thank you to all those involved.

We are constantly reviewing our price promotions (both the “2 hours, 50% off the first lesson” and optional “5 for £99”) to best take advantage of the demand relative to alternatives in the market. Even with the increased number of enquiries, it is vital to have competitive pricing to convert the “looker into a booker”.
Scotland and Wales
We continue to monitor the lockdown review measures in both Scotland and Wales. The franchise fee assistance will remain for those instructors affected.
Test Centre Facilities
The DVSA has announced pupils (and their Instructor) will now be able to use toilet facilities at test centres. Waiting Rooms remain closed for now.
