On Saturday driving lessons resumed in England, after over 100 days of COVID-19 lockdown. We spoke to pupils from Bury and Burnley following their first lesson back to understand how they got on…

Today went really well, I felt safe and comfortable with Keeley (her Driving Instructor) as she managed to clean/ sterilise the car and sanitise our hands every time we have stopped to talk things over. It was nerve wrecking at first, as it’s been my first lesson in 3 months, but it was fun and I felt completely comfortable today and can’t wait for my next lesson
Emma having Driving Lessons in Bury
Before the lesson I felt excited to get back on the road. I was a bit nervous about remembering what to do. I was really surprised at how much I remembered and how well the lesson went. I suffer from anxiety & my Instructor made me feel comfortable and confident behind the wheel after having all this time off. I didn’t stall once and I feel excited to have my next lesson next week.
Natalie also from Bury
Had my first ever lesson yesterday and it was fab! Was provided with mask and gloves at start of lesson . Cannot wait for my next lesson 🙂
