We were delighted that on Monday (4th June 2018) one of our Leeds-based driving instructors was featured on regional ITV news as he gave a learner driver a new motorway lesson. Under new laws passed for driving regulations, learner drivers are allowed to take to the motorways as part of their driving lessons subject to instructor approval.
If you are interested in a Motorway lesson with a qualified instructor take a look at how Adam got on in his first motorway lesson over on our Bill Plant Driving School YouTube channel.
From 4th June 2018, all provisional learner drivers are now eligible to take motorway driving lessons after a driving law change has come into force across the UK – as long as it is with an approved driving instructor in a vehicle with dual controls. Hint – such as a Bill Plant Driving Instructor!
Motorway lessons with a qualified Bill Plant Driving Instructor are a great way for pupils to advance their driving ability beyond standard lessons for your practical driving test. With the additional time behind the wheel on motorways, our students feel more confident not just on test day, but when travelling on all types of roads after they pass.
