UPDATE, FEBRUARY 2021: The DVSA has announced an Emergency Services Driving Lessons and Tests service during the current national lockdown. Please check the link to review your eligibility – https://www.billplant.co.uk/learn-to-drive/emergency-services-driving-lessons/
We’ve set up a Q&A page on our blog post – Emergency Worker Driving Lessons and Test Update
Bill Plant Driving School offer driving lessons to key workers needing to pass their driving test. Due to the removal of nationwide lockdown restrictions, while key workers are no longer prioritised for driving lessons, we’ll do our best to accommodate lessons around your availability.
Unsure if you are a Key Worker? Please find a link to our guide on Who is a Key Worker.
You can still get an emergency test if your work is critical to the COVID-19 response, or you work in a critical sector. These include:
- health and social care
- education and childcare
- key public services
- local and national government
- food and other necessary goods
- public safety and national security
- utilities, communication and financial services
