Online Theory Lessons – New Product Launch
Our Marketing Team is delighted to be launching Online Theory Lessons by Bill Plant Driving School, providing you with an opportunity to teach pupils the Theory and Hazard Perception materials via Video-conferencing from home– aimed to create new pupil demand plus give you the option to keep your current students engaged.

We’ve partnered with Driving Test Success to create an exclusive co-branded, industry-first digital product in direct response to the impact of the Coronavirus lockdown.

A suggested course has been designed whereby the pupil signs up to an Introductory Hour, which includes a 4-month subscription to DTS Anytime and a Presentation that you will deliver within an hour.

The Introductory Hour is priced at £30 (inclusive of VAT) which includes the cost of the subscription to DTS Anytime, £10 direct income to you alongside covering the necessary administrative and marketing expenses.  

The course, after the Introductory Hour, is deliberately designed to allow further private tuition which you will host one-to-one via Video Conferencing with your assigned pupils, whom will pay you £10 p/hour directly. The course material and example lesson plans will be provided to you directly.

Once signed up, you will receive the following information on Tuesday 14^th April:
– Online Theory Lesson Presentation (for the Introductory Hour)
– A login to the Driving Test Success platform, where you can monitor your pupils’ progress
– 35+ page Lesson Structure Document covering every topic, in order, for the theory test including Example Lesson Scripts
– A video link example of the Introductory Online Theory Lesson in action
– A guide to hosting Video-conferencing
– An FAQ sheet – answering common questions

Advertising will commence today via our award-winning Public Relations and Digital Media Agencies. We will be sharing marketing content with you to publish on your social media platforms and send to your current pupils, who are still at the Theory stage in their learning. 

The pupil allocation will work as normal. You will be sent a Text Message with your pupil’s details, which will clearly state that it is an online theory booking, to organise a Video Conference Call to undertake the Introductory Hour via the Presentation. You will then directly manage subsequent tutoring. When a student is allocated to an instructor, our head office team will automatically send the pupil their subscription and their account will be visible through your individual login to the platform, to see their progress.

We will make best endeavors to provide those pupils wanting theory lessons a local participating instructor, based in the area that you teach in, with the goal being that once driving lessons resume they will naturally continue with you thereafter.

Online Theory Lessons by Bill Plant Driving School will commence from next week. Whilst we are sure there will be a few launch bugs, we trust you will all support our efforts to provide work to you – better a diamond with a flaw than a pebble without.

As a company, we are all proud to be able to quickly provide such an innovative solution to enable a new form of income for all our Instructors across the UK. We believe this digital solution will engage a new pupil demographic, to further feed student demand when practical driving lessons are safe to do so.

COVID19 – Government Offer of Support
We have been liaising with potential private companies this week via a Government Portal, after being placed on a list of Government Suppliers. We will contact you directly should these opportunities develop any further.
