Instructor Support Update – 22nd May

Update on your Franchise Fee Assistance
As the lockdown measures continue we are again extending the Franchise Fee Assistance for all our Instructors until 26th June; Therefore, throughout this period we will continue to collect a minimal £65 per week.

However, this will be reviewed if Government advice allows teaching to recommence during the month.

No action is required, and you do not need to contact your Relationship Manager nor the Finance Department for this.

We will continue to provide Franchisees with a vehicle and insurance, which can be used for limited mileage (we recommend no more than 50 miles per week) and will be helpful in any emergency, or to provide volunteering assistance in the local community as we know many of you are doing.

Outside of the Online Driving Theory Lesson initiative, we are now receiving a steady daily increase of Pupil Enquiries for when teaching recommences and are making the necessary Marketing plans to ensure that Instructors will be busier than ever following the end of the lockdown period.

We continue to monitor the situation and will keep you up to date in our ongoing weekly Instructor Support communications.

DVSA Statement on returning to work
On 20th May the DVSA provided a statement on returning to work via the National Associations Strategic Partnership (N-A-S-P). Please find the statement in a PDF document hosted on the N-A-S-P website – DVSA Statement on going back to work.

Instructor Support
Should you require any guidance or support other than what has been communicated please do contact your Relationship Manager in the Instructor Support Team on 01765 643374.

We will continue to do all we can to support our Instructors, Trainers, Trainees, Staff and Pupils.

Kind regards
