Driving Lesson Bookings
Following the resumption of driving lessons and our nationwide marketing efforts, Bill Plant Driving School has seen a significant rise in its bookings numbers in England and Wales. We are working extremely hard to ensure every Bill Plant Driving School instructor is given the best possible opportunity to bounce back from the difficult lockdown periods we have all faced with even more successful businesses. With driving lessons due to resume in Scotland in the very near future, we are also hopeful to see a steep rise in demand over the following weeks for your services.
As discussed with you previously, we have aimed to improve the franchise proposition in a number of ways from a pupil perspective to increase your earnings:
- Replace ‘First Hour Free’ pupil enquiries with committed prepaid pupils
- Launch Bill Plant Driving School’s Ecommerce platform to take Driving Lesson payments 24/7 for our driving instructors nationwide
- Increase Driving Lesson prices across the board
The results from our endeavours are as follows:
Monday 12th April saw Bill Plant Driving School break its bookings record for a single day, and currently 67% of the driving school is fully booked, despite increasing lesson prices nationwide!
The regional lesson price increases have seen great success, with our instructors now earning between £28-£33 per hour (previously £27.50/£29.50). The Ecommerce platform took a record amount of bookings on the Monday 12th April and is consistently contributing to higher booking numbers every week, while removing the First Hour Free has not only increased instructor earnings but significantly reduced cancellations and ‘no-shows’
We are very pleased that these operational decisions have improved our franchise proposition to you and we are deliberating plans for further improvements which will be announced to you over the coming months.
