Instructor Support Update – 20th December – 2nd Edition

Driving lessons and driving instructor training are now suspended in Tier 4 areas in England and throughout Wales. Driving lessons and driving instructor training will be postponed from December 26^th in Scotland.

Franchise fee assistance
For those in these affected areas we are reducing the franchise fee to £65 per week.

Next week’s direct debit will already have been processed by the banks. Therefore, from 28th December, the following weeks’ direct debits will be £65 until driving lessons resume.

Yesterday’s communication stated an aspect of franchise fee deferment, but this will not be case, it will simply be £65 per week until driving lessons resume. From yesterday’s government announcement, we expect the next review to take place at the end of December.

You do not need to change or cancel anything, nor contact Instructor Support or the Finance Department for this.
