Why are Bill Plant Driving School cars still on the road?

14/01/2021

Since Lockdown 3 was announced (4th January) we have sadly had to postpone driving lessons (again) due to COVID-19 restrictions. “Stay at home” orders are now once again in effect, meaning that people are only allowed to leave their homes for essential reasons.

Unlike other lockdowns, key workers are unable to undertake driving lessons during “Lockdown 3” however, our branded Bill Plant Driving School tuition vehicles will still be on the roads. But why?

Volunteering. As with the previous lockdown, we are aware of our Driving Instructors offering assistance to their local community and schemes such as the NHS Volunteering scheme.

Our Driving Instructors will be using the vehicle as their “personal car” and therefore allowing them to make essential journies during this period. This may include our Instructors with a member of their household or within their support bubble.

Stay safe, Bill Plant Driving School
