Driving lessons & tests to halt during Wales circuit-breaker lockdown

19/10/2020

We have just received confirmation that sadly driving lessons and driving tests will temporarily halt due to the circuit-breaker lockdown across Wales.

This means that from 6pm Friday 23rd October until the start of Monday 9th November 2020 driving lessons and driving tests should not take place.

Can I have driving lessons?

No – during the short period of this lockdown, driving lessons should not take place. Please contact your Welsh-based Bill Plant Driving School Instructor directly to rearrange your pre-planned driving lessons.

I have a driving test booked during this period – can it go ahead?

No – you should rearrange your test for 9 November or later. There is currently no charge for rearranging your test with DVSA.

What about driving lessons or driving tests for Key Workers?

We are yet to receive any formal communication regarding driving lessons or tests for Key Workers. Please continue to speak to your Driving Instructor directly and re-visit this blog post.

Lesson bookings to remain open

If you are looking for driving lessons in Wales, we will still be taking enquires for our Driving Instructors in Wales via 0330 555 2254 for when driving lessons can resume on 9th November.
