Bill Plant Driving School Instructor Update – 22nd March

Further to yesterday’s Instructor Support communications please find the below update:

Clarity from the DVSA
We are seeking clarity from the DVSA and the Government with regards to their advice for Driving Lessons. When we have received this update, we will immediately communicate this.

Franchise fee assistance due to COVID-19
We fully understand the difficulties that many of you are experiencing. We will be communicating considerable franchise fee assistance for all our UK-based Driving Instructors in the coming 48 hours.

New revenue opportunities for our Driving Instructors
We have an agreement with a third-party Training Contractor for the British Army who has offered up to 6 weeks ongoing work for regionally based franchisees. We are aiming to build upon this and are having meetings with businesses in wider sectors to utilise our skilled Driving Instructors.

Ripon Head Office remains open
Last week we went to great lengths to ensure all departments are able to support you and the business should they be required to work remotely. Please contact the Team(s) via their usual contact details.
