The Bill Plant Driving School team is delighted to share that they have won an incredible two awards at the 2023 Intelligent Instructor Awards – both Training Provider of the Year and the coveted National Driving School of the Year 2023.
This UK-wide award celebrates the very highest standards of driving schools and the driver trainer industry, so to be recognised as the best driving school in the UK, as well as the top provider of driving instructor training, is a true honour – one that every person involved within the school should be proud of.
Upon receiving the award, Adam Pumfrey, CEO of Bill Plant Driving School, said: “We are humbled to be recognised as not only the best national driving school for learner drivers, but also the best driving instructor training provider in the UK. For us, both of these awards go hand-in-hand.

National Driving School of the Year 2023
To be crowned the best driving school in the country is an incredible feat, especially when up against some of the biggest names in the industry, such as Red and AA Driving School.
We are incredibly proud of the high-quality driving lessons that all 820+ Bill Plant driving instructors offer day in, day out. This award wouldn’t be possible without their hard work and dedication, along with that of Bill Plant Driving School training staff and the wider team.
The last few years have seen several challenges for people from all walks of life, not least driving instructors. From being unable to work throughout lockdown to staying cheerful and positive during masked lessons post-pandemic, there are plenty of reasons why we want to celebrate our Bill Plant driving instructors.
