Terms and Conditions

  1. Application to be considered for Bill Plant Ltd Driving Instructor Training course is deemed as acceptance of all terms and conditions relating to the course.
  2. Acceptance onto the Bill Plant Ltd Driving Instructor Training Course can only be achieved by agreeing to full payment of the course fee at the time of booking.
  3. Refunds policy: when an unfavourable DBS check is received a refund of monies paid, less £450.00 plus the cost of materials supplied will be made. This is dependent upon the candidate not making deliberate false statements in the DBS application and not as a result of any action of the candidate after commencing the course. A minimum of 28 days’ notice is required to amend the module booking date. Failure to do so will incur a cancellation charge of £150.00 of module A and £375.00 of module B. If a candidate withdraws from the course for any other reason than stated, no refunds will be made available and the candidate will be still liable for the remaining course.
  4. It is the candidate’s responsibility to apply for the DBS check, to pay for all attempts at the DVSA ADI qualifying exams and upon successful completion, the fee required to be placed on the DVSA ADI register. Telephone and online support will be available for Part 1 but it is the responsibility of the candidate to study & prepare for this exam.
  5. Training will be delivered at times that are mutually agreed between trainer and trainee.
  6. Accommodation will be provided for the candidate on a bed and breakfast basis only. 2 nights’ accommodation for Module A and 5 nights’ accommodation for Module B.
  7. A suitable vehicle will be made available at your request for each attempt at part 2 and 3 of the DVSA ADI exams, chargeable at £75.00 per attempt. The vehicle supplied for these attempts must be paid for in advance and the charge is in addition to, and not part of the course costs.
  8. Training will be provided by one of our trainers. We will endeavour to use the same trainer throughout the course but reserve the right to provide a suitable replacement should the need arise.
  9. A candidate must successfully pass part 1 ‘Theory and Hazard Perception Test’ and part 2 ‘Driving Ability Test’ before booking module B. Please note the part 1, 2 and 3 tests are external and conducted by the Driving and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) they are to be booked by the candidate via the DVSA and are not part of the residential training course. A copy of the test certi cates must be forwarded to the address shown below marked for the attention of ‘The Instructor Training Department’ before a module B booking can be made.
  10. A candidate must complete module A and module B within 12 calendar months from the date of agreement.Any training not taken at this point is then deemed to have been forfeited with no refund.
  11. You have the right to cancel your place on the training programme without paying a charge for ending it early at any time in the first 7days. Please make all early cancellation requests in writing via email to the training manager.
  12. Complaints procedure :if at any time during your training you are dissatisfied with the quality of the training or any aspect of the course, an initial complaint should be made in writing to the company’s training manager. If the complaint is not resolved to either parties satisfaction then the operations director should be contacted.
