Bill Plant Driving School x Driving Fitness
Bill Plant Driving School have teamed up with Driving Fitness to offer all our Driving Instructors access to the site with step-by-step videos that allow them to stay fit, focused and flexible during their roles that require them to be sat down and sedentary for a large portion of their working day.
The National Driving School of the Year has set up this scheme to help empower and inform their geographically dispersed Instructors to focus on their physical and mental health, by providing a mixture of complimentary and discounted content via the Driving Fitness website which is due to launch in early October.
Joe Pizans, Co-Founder of Driving Fitness, has been in the fitness industry for over 15 years, starting out as a personal trainer, and Sophie Stuchfield, fellow Co-Founder, has been an Approved Driving Instructor for more than 10 years, with a background as a personal trainer.
Bill Plant Driving School Instructors will be able to access Driving Fitness at a reduced rate of 50% off for the first 30 days after launch across all of their available programmes (with the typical cost to access the programmes being between £17.99 and £24.99 depending on level).
Tom Hixon, Head of Instructor Support at Bill Plant Driving School, said:
“We are delighted to team up with Driving Fitness to offer our driving instructors access to a number of stretching and mobility exercises that they can use throughout their day.
We train our driving instructors to be the best from a lesson teaching point of view, so why not also from a wellness viewpoint. We all know the benefits of staying healthy and we are thrilled to create an industry-first collaboration with Driving Fitness to benefit our instructors across their overall health, energy, productivity and mental health.
This partnership with Driving Fitness is part of our desire to demonstrate that we are serious about the health and wellbeing of our Instructors across the UK.”
Joe Pizans, Co-Founder at Driving Fitness commented:
“Being able to partner with such an established and well recognised driving school is an exciting opportunity for us to highlight just how important getting into a regular routine of stretching and mobility is for those within the driving industry. Reducing pain, improving flexibility and the general quality of life of drivers is something we are determined as a company to achieve.”
Bill Plant Driving School Instructors will receive information about this collaboration in their upcoming Instructor Support Updates.
