Driving Theory Tests cancelled up to and including 30 May 2020

Driving Theory Tests cancelled up to and including 30 May 2020

The DVSA has today confirmed that all Driving Theory Tests have been cancelled up to and including 30 May 2020, due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

What DVSA are doing

The DVSA are emailing anyone with a test booked up to 30 May 2020 to let them know it has been cancelled and that they will be automatically refunded. It can take up to 10 working days for the refund to show back in the account it was paid from.

Emergency theory tests

An emergency Driving Theory testing service will still be available to those who have a critical need to take a test, such as NHS and front line workers.

The DVSA have advised pupils not to call their customer service centre as they will not be able to help. Stay up to date on the latest information on GOV.UK.

Online Theory Driving Lessons

Bill Plant Driving School has launched Online Driving Theory Lessons, in partnership with Driving Test Success, to allow pupils plenty of practice to best prepare them for their Theory Test, when they’re reinstated.

This is not only available to pupils already learning to drive with a Bill Plant Driving School Instructor, but any learner driver looking to start or enhance their Theory knowledge.
