Cheap Petrol ? UK Tax Petrol Price Rise

Petrol Price Increase \r\n\r\nTax rises in the UK mean that petrol prices could move up even further so that the unleaded price will be 98p and it is thought that diesel will go over the £1 mark. The consumer is likely to suffer at these prices as are the petrol retailers. The 2007  budget announced by Gordon Brown advised of the increase.\r\n\r\nIn the UK the number of petrol stations is likely to fall if the increase in petrol prices continues as retailers cannot stay in business.  We will now stand back and watch as the supermarkets are likely to compete with the larger petrol companies such as BP over pricing.
